Unleash your child’s inner inventor, architect, and artist! The Art Builders is a high-energy, hands-on studio experience where kids design, engineer, and build their own spectacular 3D masterpieces.
Each session introduces a new creative challenge, guiding students to think like engineers and create like artists. Using a rich mix of materials—from cardboard, wire, and wood to clay, fabrics, and found objects—young builders will bring their biggest ideas to life!
Get ready for three hours of monstrously creative fun! Inspired by Disney’s Monsters, Inc. and Maurice Sendak’s beloved Where the Wild Things Are, young artists will dive into a world of imaginative creatures while exploring exciting mixed-media art techniques.
Artists will create:

- Puffy Monster Mirrors using our signature Artsy Slime recipe made with Model Magic for a fun, squishy 3D effect.
- Monster Slime to stretch, swirl, and customize with monstrous flair.
- Glow-in-the-Dark Monster Paintings featuring colorful fork-painted fur textures that come to life when the lights go out!
Throughout the workshop, artists will experiment with painting, sculpture, texture, color, and sensory art while bringing their own unique monsters to life. This hands-on experience encourages creativity, confidence, and playful imagination as participants explore multiple art media and discover exciting artistic effects.
Every artist will leave with several one-of-a-kind monster masterpieces, new artistic skills, and the satisfaction of creating a monstrously fun collection of artwork!
